Sem Borst new scientific director Eurandom
As from April 1, 2019 Eurandom has a new scientific director: Prof.dr.ir. S.C. (Sem) Borst.
Sem is full professor at TU Eindhoven and part of the Stochastic Group. He knows Eurandom very well and has been associated in many events organized by Eurandom. Eurandon is looking forward to organizing a wide range of new activities and events.
Sem takes over from Remco van der Hofstad, who has lead Eurandom in the last 8 years. The future of Eurandom wasn't very bright in 2011. Finances were drying up. Remco has managed to save Eurandom and turn it back to its strength: attracting excellent organizers and speakers to provide a solid workshops and visitors programme.
