3. Quantum networks

Quantum computers are the next generation computing devices. They hold a tremendous promise to revolutionize the way we process and handle information throughout science, technology, and our rapidly growing information society. Quantum computers can be used to implement quantum algorithms, which in many instances are able to perform computations much faster than classical algorithms. Quantum random walks are tools to develop quantum algorithms.
