Yorgos Amanatidis is a postdoctoral researcher at the Networks and Optimization group at the Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI), hosted by Guido Schäfer. He enjoys working on problems lying in the intersection of computer science and economics, often related to social choice theory. He hase a particular interest in fair division and in algorithmic mechanism design.

 

He completed his PhD in August 2017 at Athens University of Economics and Business, where he was supervised by Vangelis Markakis. He received his Master's degree in Mathematics from Georgia Institute of Technology and his Diploma in Applied Mathematics from the National Technical University of Athens.
