Benoît Corsini received his PhD in Mathematics from McGill University in 2022, under the supervision of Louigi Addario-Berry. His thesis focused on properties of random permutations and random trees, such as the height of binary search trees drawn from random models of permutations, and transitions from local to global minimum spanning trees in a weighted graph. He joined the NETWORKS program in 2022 as a PostDoc, under the supervision of Remco van der Hofstad. Benoît's research interests mostly lie in the study of random finite objects, but he is also curious about and has worked on other topics, such as anomaly detection algorithms and statistical properties of music.
