Daoyi completed his (integrated) Master's degree in Mathematics in July 2019 at the University of Bristol, UK. During the four years of study, he mainly focused on probability and analysis, leading to the final year project titled 'Ergodicity of Stochastic Processes and Markov Chain Central Limit Theorem'.

From October 2019, he will start as a PhD student at Leiden University under the supervision of Frank den Hollander and Diego Garlaschelli, working to understand the Parabolic Anderson Model on random graphs.
