Rens Kamphuis, MSc

Rens Kamphuis received his BSc in Econometrics and Operations Research at the University of Groningen in 2016. During this program he developed an interest in applications of probability theory and statistics, but he also wanted to understand the mathematical foundations of these fields. As a result, he received his MSc in Stochastics and Financial Mathematics at the University of Amsterdam in 2019. This program taught him the measure theoretical approach to stochastic processes and asymptotic statistics. In March 2019 he will start his PhD project concerning traffic planning under uncertainty, under the supervision of Michel Mandjes and Paulo Serra.
