Janusz received his BSc (Hons.) and MSc degree in theoretical physics at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. The title of his master thesis was “Biofilament interacting with molecular motors”. In September 2015 he will start as a PhD student at the Mathematical Institute of Leiden University, under the supervision of Prof. den Hollander, Prof. Garlaschelli and Prof. Meijer. His research will focus on the synchronization of phase oscillators on complex networks in the context of neural networks.
