Debankur is from Kolkata (former Calcutta), India. He received his BSc degree in Statistics from University of Calcutta in 2012 and an MSc degree with Mathematical Statistics and Probability specialization from Indian Statistical Institute in 2014. He is currently working under Prof. Sem Borst and Prof. Johan van Leeuwaarden. His major fields of interest includes interacting particle system in spatial setup, Markov processes, mixing times, random graphs and networking.
