Sten Wessel received a dual master's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Eindhoven University of Technology, with honors (2022). In his master's thesis, he developed a new method to handle sub-symmetry in integer programming problems.
Starting October 2022, Sten is a PhD candidate at Eindhoven University of Technology. Under the supervision of Christopher Hojny and Frits Spieksma, his research concerns methods for handling fairness in combinatorial optimization.
