Purva Joshi, MSc

Purva received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in mathematics in 2021 through the BS - MS Dual Degree Program at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune. Her Master's thesis, titled 'Inhomogeneous Terminal Value Problems Related to the Option Price in a Regime Switching Market', was inspired from the subject of mathematical finance, and involved probability theory, stochastic processes and PDE.

She is interested in probability theory, stochastic processes and their wide range of applications. From September 2021, she will join TU/e to pursue a PhD under the supervision of Sem Borst and Marko Boon, focusing on optimal traffic flow of self-driving vehicles.
