Bharti received her BSc. degree in mathematics Hons. from University of Delhi, in 2016. Her interest in the application of mathematics developed during master's in Applied Mathematics and Computing from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, where she worked on spectrum-related parameters and properties of Resolvents. Later, she joined Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi in 2018 as a research scholar in MPhil. Mathematics. Her thesis is titled "road traffic flow modelling and prediction", which focused on techniques from deep learning, statistical, and mathematical models to forecast short-term road traffic flow for real-life heterogeneous traffic conditions of India. Following her interest in applications of Mathematics for real-life problems, Bharti will begin her PhD from September 2021 at the University of Amsterdam under the supervision of Prof. Michel Mandjes and Dr. René Bekker. She will focus on stochastic decision making for spatial problems, that can involve healthcare and delivery services.
