Hans de Ferrante, MSc

Hans received a Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering at TU Eindhoven (2017) and econometrics and operations research at Tilburg University (2018). He continued with master programs in bioinformatics and systems biology in Amsterdam and econometrics and mathematical economics in Tilburg (2020).  Hans completed an internship at Pacmed in 2020 which combined his passion working with medical data and causal inference, by focusing on estimation benefits of adjuvant therapies for women with invasive breast cancer. His PhD position is jointly hosted by Eurotransplant, where Hans will use statistics and data science techniques to further evaluate transplantation outcomes and policy changes to allocation mechanisms.
