Murtuza received his Dual Degree of Electrical Engineering with specialization in Communication Systems, from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in June 2014. His master thesis was on “Routing Strategies in Queueing systems”. Following his interest in the behaviour of queueing models and priorities in such models Murtuza started his Ph.D. in October 2014, working on “Performance Analysis of Optical Networks” under the supervision of prof. dr. Onno Boxma, prof. ir. Ton Koonen and dr. Jacques Resing.
