Farewell Symposium for Leen Stougie
On Thursday 3 April 2025, CWI will host a symposium in honor of Leen Stougie's retirement. Leen has had a rich forty year history at CWI, where he has impacted many researchers in the Netherlands and abroad.
His research contributions have spanned many areas of operations research, computer science and bioinformatics, where he has made many seminal contributions.
The symposium will include talks by close friends and collaborators including Nicole Megow (University of Bremen), Martin Skutella (TU Berlin), Stefano Leonardi (La Sapienza) and Alberto Marchetti-Spaccamela (La Sapienza).
