Soeren Terziadis received his PhD in Computer Science from the Technical University of Vienna in 2024, under the supervision of Martin Nöllenburg. His thesis focused on algorithms and the computational complexity of problems in schematization, such as the computation of schematic transit maps, low complexity geometric separators and the complexity of recognizing specific classes of geometric intersection graphs. He joined the NETWORKS program in 2023 as a PostDoc, under the supervision of Mark de Berg. Soeren's research interests lie in both graph drawing and algorithmic geometry, but some of his previous work also ventured into the areas of puzzle creation and scheduling problems.

This position has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement Grant Agreement No 101034253.
