Jiesen Wang is a postdoctoral researcher at the Networks under the supervision of Michel Mandjes. She received her Ph.D. degree in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at The University of Melbourne, under the supervision of Peter Taylor and Mark Fackrell. Her thesis focuses on strategic decision making in service systems. Before joining the Networks, She was a postdoctoral researcher at Tel Aviv University, her advisor being Refael Hassin.

 

Her current topics of interest include statistical inference of queues, applied data science, strategic decision making, and optimal control of stochastic systems.

 

 

This position has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement Grant Agreement No 101034253.
