Dr. Maximilian Wötzel

Maximilian Wötzel received his PhD in Applied Mathematics from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona in January 2022, under the joint supervision of Prof. Juanjo Rué and Oriol Serra. He joined the NETWORKS program in 2023 as a postdoctoral researcher, working together with Ross Kang. Max is broadly interested in all areas of extremal and probabilistic combinatorics, but with a special interest in combinatorial problems that have connections to topics in additive combinatorics.
