Mini-workshop "Spectra, networks and random rooted forests"

This one-day mini workshop gathers together mathematicians and physicists interested in the analysis of random rooted forests within the context of complex networks.

The talk contributions will cover some fundamental and applied aspects with main emphasis
on related scaling limits and methods to estimate the Laplacian spectrum.

Schedule

10:00-11:00: Alex Gaudillière (Marseille): Spectral estimation for graph Laplacian

11:15-12:15: Simon Barthelmé (Grenoble): Random forests for smoothing

12:20-12:30: Luca Avena (Leiden): A note on FK-percolation and rootes forests

Lunch

14:00-14:45 Matteo Quattropani (Rome): Loop-erased partitioning on mean-field models

15:00-15:30 Twan Koperberg (Leiden): Loop-erased partitioning on loop-free graphs

15:30-16:00 Vittorio Magrini (Leiden): Some local limit aspects of spanning rooted trees and

                    forests on dense graphs
